The affects of TXTing on language
The significant rise of technological aptitude in children is presenting interesting questions for education. Children expect things immediately. They interact with colors, sounds, videos, digital media, etc. How are their impressions of technology impacting their willingness to learn? A lot of people are discussing these issues. I haven't heard any discussion regarding changes in language and spelling due to texting. Children are familiar with spellings like pic, txt, thnx, u r, etc, how will this change their ability to learn language and spell or will it alter language completely?
